As a workplace admin, you have the option to designate whether a job will involve workers receiving tips. When you create a job, you should designate whether or not workers will be eligible to receive tips for that job.
All tips are handled outside of Spur by the worker and workplace. Most workplaces will “cash out” worker tips at the end of the shift, but this should discussed with the workplace when you show up for the shift.
Spur workers will be responsible for reporting additional earnings as part of their end-of-year tax filings.
