Spur allows eligible employees to take up to 12 weeks (or up to 26 weeks in the case of Injured Service member Family Leave) of unpaid Family and Medical Leave (“FMLA Leave”).
In most circumstances, you are eligible for FMLA Leave if: (1) you have worked for Spur for at least 12 months, (2) you have worked at least 1250 hours for Spur in the 12 months immediately preceding your leave request, (3) you work at a Spur location with at least 50 employees or within 75 miles of another Spur location that when combined has at least 50 employees, (4) you provide the proper notice to Spur, where practicable, and (5) you provide any required certification. Many temporary employees may not meet these requirements, but all employees who do meet the requirements set out by law will be eligible for covered leave.
Information regarding FMLA Leave is posted at Spur’s main facility. If you have any questions regarding FMLA leave, please contact Spur.
